The ins and outs of...

Children of the Nile is a game with many hidden possibilities. Whenever you think your city can't run any more efficient, you discover something that can still be improved. Therefore, we decided to write a series of articles about the various aspects of a city. Starting with Prestige and Food and Farming, we intend to write about, among other things, Religion, the Educated Elite or perhaps something else you're asking for.

For now, I hope you will enjoy the articles that have been released and that they are of a help to you.

Children of the Nile released around the world!

Today is the day we all have been waiting for! For three months, players from the US have been enjoying Children of the Nile, but from today onwards, there's no one in the world who doesn't have access to the game, unless it's sold out already! The game is delivered as version 1.1, European players can get their v1.2 patch from the SEGA site. The UK version can be found here and you can also find the French, German, Italian and Spanish versions there.

A Contest?

Rumour, from a trustworthy source, has it that there will be a Tilted Mill sponsored contest soon. I might even say very soon, to celebrate the release of Children of the Nile outside the US and Canada.

Stay tuned, as there will definitely be more news tomorrow.

And yes, this contest will be a bit of a monster...

The reason for the delay

I thought you would be interested in the reason for the delayed release for Europe. As you may know, Tilted Mill recently released the v1.2 patch and not only the game but the patch too must be localized before it's ready to be used. Since CotN will ship as v1.1, you will need to download the v1.2 patch after you buy it. To ensure no one in Europe will be waiting for the patch, they decided to release CotN to all of Europe simultaneously, on February the 4th.

Addition: Following an e-mail I received, I would like to add that the game will be fully playable when you buy it. SEGA just wants to make sure no one will have to wait for the latest patch after buying the game.
