Getting to know the Editor and CotN reviews

Matt Zimmitti, a Tilted Mill employee, has been ordered to design a new Children of the Nile scenario. He thought it would be a good idea to explain everything he does. Today he posted his first lesson, it's about preparing the map, carving the first elevations and painting some terrain tiles. We'll keep you updated on how the scenario evolves! Read the first lesson here.

Also, note that we've collected some reviews for Children of the Nile that are out there on the web, you can find them here.

I can hear a bell ring...

If there is anyone here that doesn't know VitruviusIAI or Vaia as we like to call him, he or she must have wandered onto the site within the last few minutes.

So most, if maybe not all of you know the amount of work and dedication he's had to the site(s) in the past years. Maintaining the wonderful census on several sites, his table wizardry, tireless game help and lots of content work on Emperor and Pharaoh Heaven are just a few examples of this.

Well, it's gonna change.

I've asked him and he's willing to do even more work for us, and to make it so much easier or him to do that work ( not to mention to show my appreciation to his work *wink*) he'll be trading in those stubby little cherub wings for a brand new pair of sleek and powerful angel wings.

His biggest new task will be helping us getting Children off the Nile Heaven off to the ground, but he may also find himself making those necessary changes to the older CB heavens.

Yes, you may congratulate him.

Sad news for Europe

Tilted Mill and SEGA today announced that Children of the Nile will not be released in Europe until late January, perhaps even not until February. The reason behind this: "so that product awareness can be increased". Read more about it here.

Fortunately, the November calendars have been released and as you may notice, Tuesdays are no longer marked as update days. This is because the official site will now be updated more often.
