The priestess, Jil Bei, ushers the candidates into the room and scans the eager faces waiting to know what is in store for them, for today is the day they have all been waiting for - some with happy anticipation, some with trepidation, some with downright fear.
They notice a tall distinguished gentleman standing at her side, the eminent Jei Ku, who starts speaking to them.
"Young Hopefuls, today is the start of an important stage in your life. Today you start on several weeks of examinations; some you will find easy as they will be in subjects you enjoy and are good at; some you will struggle with, but will persist until they are done as you know there will be a solution somewhere. At the end of the Examination, there will be victors, but all who send in valid answers will be rewarded with points too.
First (if you haven't done so already) you must register at Normal or Very Hard; then I suggest you look at the General Overview and then at the Rules for the Examination.
Finally, you may turn over your papers, either for Be Prepared, an examination prepared for you by myself (closing date 16th May) or to Trade Tycoon prepared for you by the eminent Bob Tei (closing date 23rd May).

Jei Ku and Jil Bei quietly leave the room, knowing that their presence has already been forgotten in the candidates' enthusiasm to start on the examination road.
