The last word was written, the last battle fought. The Bureaucratic Examination was over.
The students looked up, bleary eyed after many long nights of work, as Jil Bei and Jei Ku re-entered the room.
"You have all done well" Jil Bei announced. "As expected, most of you did better in some subjects than in others. Occasionally some forgot to read the examination paper correctly ;)
"Firstly, a special word of congratulation to Jaguar and Vaia who were both only able to enter one of the papers and who both came first in it; and to Henrium who was only able to enter three papers and won all of them. Now, the news you have been waiting for."
Jil Bei stepped back as the tall, stately figure of Yang Ya Bo entered the room. He started speaking:
"We have spent many a long day checking papers and adding up marks. Congratulations to Fortuna and pagh, in third place at normal and very hard difficulty respectively. In second place at normal is Iceman413 and at very hard is Grumpusrevisited. The winners are Gteat Cornholio (normal) and shaun (very hard). You have pleased the Emperor so much with your work, that he has allowed me to present the winners and runners up with special prizes. He turned and left the room as both examiners and candidates relaxed, wondering what to do now the examination was over.
