After a short civil war, a new dynasty, called Han, emerged with its capital at Chang'an. The new empire retained much of the Qin administrative structure but retreated a bit from centralized rule by establishing vassal principalities in some areas for the sake of political convenience.
The Han rulers modified some of the harsher aspects of the previous dynasty; Confucian ideals of government were adopted as the creed of the Han empire, and Confucian scholars gained prominent status as the core of the civil service. Intellectual, literary, and artistic endeavors revived and flourished.
The Han period produced China's most famous historian, Sima Qian, whose Shiji Historical Records provides a detailed chronicle from the time of a legendary Xia emperor to that of the Han emperor Wu Di. Two of the great Chinese inventions, paper and porcelain, date from Han times.
Now that the new dinasty suffers no threat, the Emperor comands eight of his best governors to create new cities showing the would to power China.
To the author, dalholl. The map "Aleks1" that you made is very challenging to play, but it's inaccessible on the other half (part has small pond is not accessible), even connected by bridges or ferries.
If you intended to make it that way, just ignore my comments. If not, so, please fix it in next version of this campaign.
Actually, I can fix it to be able to connect 2 parts in the city. Just let you know to update.
I played this MP campaign with my friends last week, but had to stop because there's no way to reach the goal if that map is played.
