The Grand Canal

After three centuries of disunion, the disparate kingdoms and lordships of China have been reunited under the Sui. To improve communications and supply between north and south China, the new emperor, Wendi, has embarked upon a great project. A Grand Canal is to be dug from Hangzhou on the east coast, to Luoyang on the Yellow River, and then northward to Yen. It will be a massive undertaking, requiring cooperation and coordination between distant cities. And now Wendi wants to see which project manager can complete his assigned section first.

Cooperative mission
1 to 8 players
Each player has to build a section of the Grand Canal to unite China and also stock its Palace Menagerie. A fairly easy mission and the quickest to play of the original cooperative missions. Players should cooperate by exchanging goods and animals for the Menagerie. The cities with stone should try to help supply those without to make the mission quicker. A good mission to play for a first attempt at cooperative Multiplayer. Both common and elite housing are available.
