The Good Things

The village of Banpo on the Wei River continues to thrive. But ill health threatens, and the villagers begin to grow restless for lack of entertainment. It is fortunate that wise herbalists can now proffer their remedies to the townsfolk, and talented musicians can provide relaxing tunes. At the kiln, clay can now be fashioned into fire-hardened ceramics. The end product is not only beautiful, but will be much appreciated if offered in homage to the Creator Goddess, Nu Wa.

City - Banpo
Starts Feb 1963 BCE
5000 starting cash on all levels

Requirements:
  • 400 people in Spacious Dwelling or better
  • 2 Months of Heroes

Follow the on-screen instructions as before. Here you learn about musicians and herbalists, watchtowers, residential walls, how to produce ceramics and paying homage to Heroes. A Spacious Dwelling holds 41 people, so you will need at least 10 evolved and fully populated.

I do have a few hints on this one. Don't build a ceramic shop in your market square. The houses don't need ceramics yet and they are far more useful for homage. To call Nu Wa as soon as I could, I sent the largest size gift of game meat as I had a lot in storage, then when I had 4 ceramics I sent them. This was enough to bring her to 'joyful' and come to the city. You may be running out of space by this time. Remember if you build spur roads for your industry to ensure the new buildings have inspector cover and build new inspectors if necessary.
