Come listen to the Voices of the Pinfei

We are the "Ladies of the Dream Chamber". We are the "Pinfei", the imperial concubines. From our own voices you will hear the story of our fate in Emperor Yongle's harem.

Designer Gweilo has been hearing those ghostly voices from the Forbidden City. He now invites you to hear them by playing his new custom campaign "Voices of the Pinfei".

This campaign's storyline uses the diary entries of the concubines themselves. Their different voices will add to a chorus which tells the tale of their lives in the service of the Ming Emperor Yongle, his rise to the throne, his construction of the Forbidden City, and their ultimate fate.

This campaign was designed at the 'normal' difficulty level. It should be enjoyable by players of all skill levels.

Listen for the Voices of the Pinfei

It is now the year of the Pig, and Designer Gweilo is hard at work on a new custom campaign. He has found his muse once again after researching stories of the "Pinfei", the ancient Chinese imperial concubines. This new campaign will tell the story of the pinfei of Emperor Yongle of the Ming dynasty. The campaign storyline will use first-person diary entries from the pinfei themselves. Thus, it is fitting that Gweilo has titled the campaign "Voices of the Pinfei".

The campaign will feature four new custom maps, including the Lake Pa map shown here. The campaign will be designed at the 'normal' difficulty level, and should be enjoyable for players of all skill levels. At this time, Gweilo anticipates a release date sometime during the summer of 2019.
