Hi Sampad! I'm glad to see you are still designing. I look forward to playing this as soon as I wrap up my current project. |

Thanks Gweilo! I resumed playing and designing Emperor ROTMK sometime back. I will be waiting for your comments and feedback for this campaign :) This campaign is entirely built using custom maps (designed from scratch). I have tried my best with my usual strong storyline enmeshed with the campaign and its events. The campaign is tested for over a month, but still might have issues for which I will wait for feedback from advanced players like you. I have deliberately not added hints to allow the players to discover the challenges by themselves. Good luck and thanks for testing! |

Trying to play mission 1 at 'Very Hard' reveals that:
1. Starting funds are only $3,200.
2. No taxation is allowed in the mission
3. No mint is allowed in the mission (actually makes sense for historical accuracy, but it's another revenue stream cut off).
4. No allied cities at start of mission (so no bail out loans are available).
5. None of the other cities will open trade without first receiving a gift (expensive in terms of the cost of sending two emissaries per city, plus the cost of the gift).
6. The only two active rival cities available for trade in the first years will only buy 1 low-cost commodity each (fish and wood), making it almost impossible to turn a profit after paying worker wages.
You have built a very tough campaign! I've spiraled into terminal debt several times now. Not quite ready to give up, but close. |

Hi Gweilo. The game is designed for Hard or lesser difficulty. If it helps, I can slightly increase the starting funds for M1.
An update: I was able to win the scenario in VH difficulty as well without any changes. [Edited on 09/23/21 @ 12:05 AM]

Ok, I finally beat M1 at Very Hard. I won't say how, except to say that I did not cheat or use a game-bug exploit. I just used a legitimate, albeit seldom-used strategy.
So far I am really enjoying your campaign! |

Thanks Gweilo for your playtesting feedback! It helps to make better campaigns and provides best experience to our Emperor ROTMK fanbase.
I have taken care of your feedback as much as possible. Since its a fictitious campaign, I have taken the artistic liberty for minor deviation :)
Aspects fixed in v1.1 are as below.
1. Minor increase in initial funds for 1st mission. Treasury is continued for the continuation mission. Other missions' initial funds are revised.
2. Deadline increased for goods requests.
3. Gods are in sync with the summoning temples.
4. Trees/rocks re-adjusted for better Feng Shui.
5. Map glitch in M1 fixed.
6. Mission texts updated.
Hope the ratings may be revised :) Thanks again![Edited on 10/06/21 @ 10:53 PM]

Hello sampad, since you decided to update the campaign rather extensively based on my original review and feedback, I decided it was best to remove my original review completely. It would not be fair to leave it up after you made the updates.
I will try to make time to play through the campaign again sometime, and leave a new review when I am finished.
For those of you who missed reading my original review, I scored this campaign with an overall rating of 4.2. I really liked this campaign and encourage you all to play it. |

Additional Comments:
Absolutely enjoyed this campaign and hope that you continue to produce more in the future! Did run into one glitch(?) in "the defenders of chao" {timed scenario}. The enemy was still allied from previous level and never went through with their attack. Thank you for your time, and the great hours of gameplay.

Thanks Bishopdeunnero for your encouraging words and feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the campaign!
For the mentioned level, the only scripted invasions are from Xiognu Empire (and the only scripted enemy). I will surely playtest the level once again, just in case.
[Update] Thanks to Bishopdeunnero and Gweilo, the scripted events for M5 are updated for the Xiognu related events.[Edited on 10/08/21 @ 02:11 PM]

Playing M3 right now.
I know I am a little late and nobody will read this comment, probably.
Nevertheless, everything was just wonderful, utter perfection...
Until now!
Why would you put a cool little fishing pond on the M3 map, but make impossible to place a single fishing quay with good Feng Shui?! So frustrating! |
