Sun Tzu – Master Sun
Sun Tzu was a contemporary of the great philosopher Confucius, and lived around 500 BCE in the kingdom of Qi, in Eastern China. During his life, China was being torn apart by a series of wars as lesser states fought for dominance. He is most famous for writing “The Art Of War” the earliest known treatise on war and military science, which is still studied today. Other than that very little is known of his actual life.
The only story handed down directly about him is how he convinced the king he could train anyone to be a soldier by training the kings concubines. When the concubines disobeyed him he beheaded the 2 leading concubines who were the kings favourites. The king wasn’t too happy about this at first but the remaining concubines became well trained and followed orders and the king realised he did know how to train troops.
Only Elite Houses need or can get coverage from Confucian scholars, therefore you must have Elite Houses in your city to get a Confucian hero.
Sun Tzu’s blessing of a fort decreases the time taken to train troops. This blessing does not work in the unpatched 1.0.0 version of the game.
